Each project is different, each client is different, and as such each warrants a unique approach.

It's important to note: the more information you give me up front, the more accurate I can be with your estimate.
Having said that, I do have a good idea of what my services generally cost and I understand that it can be helpful to have a starting point, even a rough one. So, here are some of my common services and
a common range indicating the costs involved.
A "Typical" Web Site design Project — basic, simple
Start–Up Web Page:
Get up and running quickly with home page. You supply your logo and text.
1 month complementary web hosting. $400.
Level 2 Professional Website:
3 web pages
logo design
you supply the text
Interactive menu
Registration of new domain name for 1 year
Web hosting for 3 months
1 hour Maintenance
$600.
Premium Web Design:
Unique intro web page.
Up to 5 subsequent pages.
original custom design.
Interactive menu.
Registration of new domain name for 1 year.
Web hosting for 6 months.
1 hour Maintenance per month for 3 months.
$1,000.
The next level site has a bit more attention to specific page-level design detail, If you go that route then you're looking at $1000-$3000.
E-commerce sites- online retail, start at $5000.00.
Here is the technical breakdown:
* Discovery and Project Management
* Information Architecture (information layout, navigation)
* Interactive Visual Design (One design, 2-3 rounds of revision)
* A small set of XHTML/CSS templates: design detail consistent on every page
* A simple Content Management System
* SEO (search engine optimization) — getting your services to the top of the google search so the public can find you— improving the volume and quality of traffic.

Ask about domain registration and hosting. We can discuss what is the best plan for your needs.
Sites needing more attention will be based on the amount of time it takes to design and create it, at the rate of $75 per hour.
50% of the estimated cost is requested before I begin your website, with the remainder to paid in segments, or upon completion.
Again, every estimate is strictly tailored to the needs of the client and can vary greatly from project to project.
What you don't see in the above list are things like quality assurance, browser compatibility testing, creative assistance with marketing/branding, SEO, etc.
Many of those things are added in to my process and when they warrant special attention they're not nearly as straightforward to estimate.
